Heartening to see the dismal performance by India in 2011.May the new year change things for Indian cricket.England have truly been the champions of test cricket with no defeats.Thanks for compiling DS.

It was a terrific year for India in ODIs. However in test matches they lost the #1 ranking in the same year after England debacle.

Nice post on test cricket, which is evergreen and classic, nice to know that England has undefeated record out of which 4 is against India. Dravid is the highest scorer.

Yes, test cricket is the best format. Its evergreen, I love it the most...

quite an interesting post .. never knew that R Dravid is the No. 1 batsman for this year in test cricket..kind of lost touch with what's happening in cricket after the world cup...

Thanks rahul. Dravid has been in fine form all through the year 2011. Even in England, where other batsman were falling like nine pins, he batted manly...
